Donations

Our parish, like all Romanian Orthodox parishes in the United Kingdom, sustains itself exclusivelythrough the voluntary contributions of its believers, as it receives no subvention from neither the British and Romanian states, nor from the Metropolis of Paris or the Romanian Patriarchy. The existence of the parish is a great joy to all the Romanians in this area, but at the same time it is a great responsibility. Everything needed for the religious life and the maintenance of the wonderful church we are serving (paying utilities, insurance, maintenance, revamping or furnishing work), is covered by these donations.

When you wish to donate to our church, you can do in the following ways:

In cash

• please place the money in an envelope (envelopes are available at the entrance to the church)
• please write on the envelope: 

• The donor code (allocated to you after signing the Gift Aid declaration). If you do not have a donor code please write your name down.
• The date
• The sum

This information is necessary for the foundation to prove to Revenues&Customs the provenance of the donated money, so that it can access the Gift Aid fiscal facility, representing 25% of the donated sum.
